Rudy’s Jukebox was part folk, part pop, part cabaret. In other words, they didn't fit anywhere back in the late 80’s, says band member Clifford Lee Johnson III. Might be different now. They wrote “Keep Hope Alive” in 1988 when the first Bush was elected. As “Uncle Lee” says, the idea is “evergreen.”
